Your role
- Scientific research, presentation and publication of results in international peer-review journals
- Teaching (usually a total of 100h over the 4-year PhD program at UZH or ETHZ)
- Co-supervising MSc and/or BSc students at ZHAW during their research projects
- Taking courses at UZH or ETHZ (usually a total of 12 ECTS) according to the conditions of the PhD program
Your profile
- Master degree in bioinformatics, computational science, statistics, or similar
- Working knowledge of Python and/or C++/ Rust
- Interest and some knowledge of virology, phylogenetics and molecular evolution is an advantage
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
