This role, which will handle the Oncology product pipeline and current portfolio, is key to implement the local market access strategy. The Market Access Manager will handle negotiations with authorities, will plan all activities and will collaborate closely with the Medical and Regulatory Affairs departments. The role will report to the Head Market Access and work very independently for the assigned portfolio. The Market Access Manager will be a key member of the country negotiation team as well as of the product brand teams.
Your main tasks
- Leading and coordinating submission processes for Oncology products
- Development of national market access and pricing strategy, including policy, government affairs, advocacy
- Lead negotiations with Swiss Authorities (BAG) to gain reimbursement for pipeline Oncology products in Switzerland, as well as maintaining reimbursements for existing product portfolio including receiving reimbursement for new indications
- Develop Value Dossiers and Health Economic models, conduct budget impact analysis
- Develop Early Access strategy and support access activities to obtain patient access before SL-listing
- Ensure access in off-label cases
- Contribute to cross-functional brand strategies and planning
- Advise the regulatory team to ensure relevant local marketing authorization is supportive of the national access strategy
- Conduct annual reimbursement analyses to inform access strategies and planning assumptions
- Build solid network with other affiliates and regional and global colleagues
- Represent the company in relevant industry associations
Your profile
- Several years of experience in Pricing, Market Access, HEOR and RWE (country level) in a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland
- Deep knowledge of the Swiss market access environment and experienced in payer negotiations
- Proven ability to work and lead in a matrix organization with ability to influence without authority
- Fluency in German and English is essential
- Teamplayer, likes to interact with other departments and clients
- Used to working independently and efficiently
- Innovative and dynamic personality
