Marry Jane AG is seeking a results-driven Accountant/Controller/Financial Analyst with strong expertise in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial controlling. This individual will play a crucial role in a high-growth company within a rapidly emerging industry.

The Accountant/Controller/Financial Analyst will participate in all aspects of the company's accounting and financial operations under the supervision of experienced colleagues. This role requires quick learning skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and high attention to details.

Marry Jane Group is a leading producer of high-quality CBD products in Switzerland, with a distribution center in the Czech Republic. As a rapidly expanding multinational organization, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller/Financial Analyst to join the financial team and to drive the company’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations: Maintain and update financial records, manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring variances and implementing corrective actions. Participate in cost analysis and inventory valuations.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during financial and tax audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and accounting principles, staying updated on changes in laws and regulations.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support overall business objectives.
• Taxes: Handle VAT and corporate tax, ensure compliance with tax laws.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably within an international or multi-cultural environment (small and middle-sized businesses are preferable in production, wholesale, retail, or agriculture)
• Language Skills: Proficiency in German and English is required.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software (Odoo is preferable) and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Swiss accounting standards. Understanding of IFRS is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
