What does a Technical Writer do?
As a Technical Writer, you will own the technical documentation for a selection of Sealed Air Cryovac packaging machines. Your role is essential in ensuring that machine manuals, instructional materials, and training documents are clear, accurate, and user-friendly. You will collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and internal teams to create and maintain high-quality documentation.

- Ensure that all manuals meet EU Technical Documentation Standards and Machinery Directives.

- Support our global teams by maintaining multilingual and up-to-date materials.
- Contribute to the digital transformation of our technical content.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in the machinery industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Framemaker, Adobe CC.
- Experience with SolidWorks tools, Composer, PDM, and 3D CAD is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of EU Technical Documentation Standards and Machinery Directives.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in a matrix environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in English (documentation master language) and German.
