Your role
You will manage the activities of the restaurant dedicated to the Bank's clients and management, as well as external and internal events (banquets and catering). You will be the main contact for the kitchen and reception teams and coordinate and perform all the Food & Beverage activities. You will provide a first-class Food & Beverage service with the emphasis on quality and always maintain absolute discretion.
Your responsibilities include the following:
- Plan and organize client lunches and hospitality service with or without external catering service
- Ensure the setting up of lounges or banquets according to the reservation forecasts and menus
- Take orders and propose food and wine pairings, if necessary
- Manage the wine cellar in coordination with Geneva’s F&B team
- Monitor the service and ensure its excellence
- Help to prepare client-facing events
- Ensure the maintenance of the material (silverware, glasses...), as well as its inventory
- Perform general administrative duties Participate in the establishment and improvement of standards and procedures

We are looking for a passionate Chef de Rang (temporary) 80% to join our team in Zurich. As a key member of our motivated team, you will be working for Food & Beverage activities, in our beautiful premises in the heart of Zurich.
You will bring your communication skills, your ability to work independently and your good knowledge of foreign languages to a service-oriented team that will appreciate your motivation, high quality standards and networked thinking. Your organizational skills and thoughtful approach to your work will enable you to maintain an overview even in hectic situations. You will use your sense of responsibility, pleasant manner and outstanding client focus to support our own staff as well as our clients.
Your profile
- Hotel management training/apprenticeship
- At least 2 years of experience in a high-end hospitality environment or in a successful running restaurant
- Native German speaker, fluent in English and knowledge of French would be an advantage
- Service-oriented, smart and confident appearance
- Must be resident in Switzerland
