We are looking for a Product Manager to joint our Product team at the HQ located in Geneva.
You will act as a key actor in the development and launch of innovative products that enhance our Spine Arthroplasty portfolio, while transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.
This role encompasses product strategy development, market data analysis, product lifecycle management, sales training content creation, customer collateral, and education for products and procedures.
Additionally, you will provide sales support, engage with key opinion leaders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Sales, Downstream, Education and Marcom, as well as external stakeholders to drive product development and launch strategies.
Your technical expertise and strategic insights will drive the successful delivery and continuous improvement of our products.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Manage product from market assessment to product launch
- Research and analyse market conditions (pricing, reimbursement, …)
- Identify key competitors and market trends and identify opportunities
- Establish & keep up to date a business plan
- Take part in the R&D development as marketing support from the design input phase to the product launch phase
- Build and execute launch plans related to your portfolio
- Manage the maintenance of the products already on the market
- Help preparing product forecasts, and constantly monitoring inventory levels held at the warehouses (direct & indirect markets) to ensure delivery timelines
- Act as a first point of contact for all inquiries regarding the products you manage and work collaboratively with other departments to define and implement the related action plan
- Implement appropriate sales and education support
- Provide the field team with support (attending surgery, promotional visit to surgeons, participation to congress, training)
- Monitor competition activity, update marketing docs and update the sales team
- Monitor sales supports adequation to the needs, timely define and implement the change
- Ensure a fluid bi-directional communication with the field
- Be ready to implement the relevant field support Communication
- lmplement the advertising plan and liaise with marcom team and the advertising agency regarding the product line you manage
- Keep the right level of internal communication on product updates (new developments, implants, instruments, surgical tech or MKT tools)
Who you are:
- 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager in Medical devices
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or engineering
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility for travel which may represent a substantial volume depend on the phase of the product development cycle
- Solution oriented – Customer oriented – Entrepreneurial mindset
- Interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team
- French and English mandatory, other language is a plus
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Assets which will make the difference:
- Experience in Spine &/or arthroplasty
- Experience in a technical field with strong regulatory constraints
