We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development efforts. A significant part of your role will involve chip fabrication, following precise protocols to ensure consistency and quality across multiple runs as well as shipping chips and reagents made in-house to our customers/headquarters. Additionally, maintaining lab equipment, ensuring the accuracy of data collection, and collaborating closely with our scientists and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate biosensor chips via reactive immersive lithography - ensuring precision and adherence to quality control standards.
- Organization of the supply chain for supplier components such as pre-structured quartz wafers and coating chemicals.
- Definition and organizational management of internal stocks of semi-finished products.
- Provide general laboratory support and collaborate with the R&D team
- Record and analyze experimental data and observations, ensuring precision and reliability (QC) in our electronic laboratory notebook
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Completed apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician or similar role.
- A bachelor’s degree in life sciences is a plus. Knowledge in biochemistry is not necessary but a plus.
- English B2+ required, German a plus.
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting (internships, research projects, or previous employment) is required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

- Permission to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA, B-/C-Permit, CH Citizen) required
