In our quest to revolutionize the world's infrastructure, we are seeking a Senior Director with Mergers and Acquisition experience for our SI Building Business Unit.

Your new responsibilities
AsSenior Director M&Ayou are a key member of our Corporate Development team of our SI Buildings Business.Specifically, you will:
- Identify and evaluate potential targets for investments, acquisitions and strategic partnerships to complement or accelerate our organic efforts, acting as sparring partner and corporate development expert to our senior leadership teams in our countries, and business segments
- Lead investment and divestment projects from strategic analysis to closing, be pacemaker for the projects to ensure delivery on time and with high quality, driving opportunities through the Siemens Investment process end-to-end, together with talented and driven colleagues in a cross-functional setting
- Advise our executive leadership team on complex strategic decisions and their impact and potential risk
- Systematically collect and discuss learnings from the projects with the teams, and incorporate them to continuously improve our M&A playbook
- Be a leader, expert and coach in our business unit and the wider corporate development community in SI and Siemens
Your talents and experience
Strong ability to structure and solve complex problems and lead projects independently, combined with:
- Master's degree business administration / economics / finance, electrical / mechanical / industrial engineering or similar
- 7+ years of total work experience in strategy, corporate development, or M&A and/or consulting
- Strong track record of leading and closing investment / divestment projects
- Existing network and ability to liaise with relevant third parties including investment banks, potential partners, and potential targets
- Background in the building and Infrastructure, or IoT and Software domain, as basis to be able to independently judge target-fit with our business
- Strong capabilities to develop standalone business valuations, model synergies, etc
