In order to complete its team, the Research center in vocational psychology and career counseling (CePCO, www.unil.ch/cepco/en ) of the Institute of Psychology of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences is looking for a Junior lecturer in vocational psychology and career counseling.

Starting annual salary: 83'160 CHF

Your responsibilities
Job description:
- 50% of the activity rate will be dedicated to research: carrying out of research projects in the fields of vocational psychology, career counseling, or career development, alone and in collaboration with CePCO members, including scientific dissemination (e.g., articles and conference presentations);
- 50% of the activity rate will be dedicated to supporting teaching and shared research work: participation in the supervision of master’s theses, participation in the correction of teacher’s exams, class and seminar assistance, collaboration on collective research projects. Involvement in administrative and organizational tasks for the CePCO, the Institute and/or the Faculty is also expected.
Your qualifications
We are looking to recruit a person with the following profile:
- PhD in psychology or equivalent;
- Ability to design and conduct research and teaching projects in the fields of vocational psychology, career counseling, and/or career development;
- Interest in teaching;
- Knowledge of research methods in psychology, experience in qualitative approaches being an asset;
- Interest in the written and oral dissemination of research findings;
- Knowledge of French or English. As teaching is provided in French, the person commits to mastering French as quickly as possible;
- Organizational and teamwork skills;
- Motivation to participate in the activities of CePCO.
