You will join the Business Partnering team in the Human Resources (HR) department, called in IATA People, Performance and Development (PPD). You will report to the Director, PPD Geneva/Montreal and Business Engagement, and you will work closely with Management Committee members, directors, managers, and employees in order to develop an HR agenda that closely supports the overall aims of the organization, as specified below.
Working closely with the leaders of the
Business Units you are in charge globally, you will have to:
- Understand business vision and ensure HR activities and initiatives are aligned with business strategy and goals
- Embed the HR strategy in assigned business units in close coordination with relevant HR subject matter experts and HR regional teams
- Build a strong, pro-active and solution-oriented business relationship with senior leaders worldwide
- Act as a change agent in alignment with the business and HR strategy
- Advise on organizational design to ensure an optimal organizational structure to meet today and tomorrow’s business challenges
- Provide guidance and proactive support to Management Committee members and Directors with talent reviews and succession planning initiatives
As part of your responsibilities for the Executive Office of Geneva, Head Office of Montreal, and Amsterdam, you will have to:
- Provide guidance and proactive support to line managers with recruitment, performance management, learning and development, compensation, and employee engagement activities
- Act as a single point of contact for the Geneva-, Montreal- and Amsterdam-based employees and managers in the assigned business units
- Coach, advise, guide and mentor internal customers as appropriate to influence organizational culture and performance
- Advise and communicate on internal policies, processes, and local labor laws; resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
- have minimum 10 years’ experience working in an HR function with strong focus on business partnering.

- are solutions-oriented with a “can-do” attitude and solid communication and collaboration skills across different cultures.
