Do you like storage? Do you master backups? The System and infrastructure team is searching for a new colleague. You will be part of the Unix and Storage Team in an enterprise environment and you will take care of thousands of servers and Petabytes of storage. Together with experienced people you will be part of a multilingual team.Responsibilities
- Ensure that the storage is always available and well performing
- Ensure that backups are always running and properly stored
- Write and implement backup policies
- Follow the evolution of the infrastructure, implement new solutions, perform migrations
- Excellent storage knowledge (Netapp and preferably IBM block storage)
- Excellent backup tool knowledge (IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) and Veeam)
- Unix/Linux knowledge
- Good verbal and written skills in English are required, German and/or Italian skills are a plus
- AIX knowledge and IBM power systems knowledge is nice to have
