Middle Officer Funds Specialist (12 months fixed term contract)

Your team

Technology & Operations design and integrate software applications ranging from portfolio management systems, trading platforms to banking and corporate solutions. The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.

You will be joining the Funds and Private Asset Services unit which covers a range of operational activities on investment funds and private equities. Based in Geneva, the Trade Processing & Middle Office - Funds is a dynamic team of professionals who assist in trade execution and carry out operational bookings on all mutual and hedge funds across the Pictet Group.

Your role

• Ensuring a timely follow-up on trades (collection and chasing of contract notes, callbacks on cash instructions and preparation of trades for booking).


• Working closely with the teams who handle bookings and cash instructions. 


• Responding to queries of internal and external stakeholders on trades.


• Investigating cash and security breaks assigned to your team (including breaks linked to equalisation/contingent factors, series).


• Tracking cut-offs and partial executions.


• Participating in testing. 


• Being involved in increasing process efficiency.

Your profile

• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Law, Business and/or Economics.


• Experience in fund operations would be beneficial.


• Must be at ease with complex products, accounting methodologies and working to deadlines.


• Analytical, dynamic, solution-oriented and team player.


• Fluent in French and English, with excellent communication skills.


• Must be resident in Switzerland.
