Your role
As Junior Suitability Expert at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are an ambitious individual who is seeking to contribute to the Bank's success and provide permanent service to the Bank's front units on investor protection and suitability matters. You are passionate about ensuring effectiveness of the Bank's suitability framework by performing regular monitoring and control activities. You are eager to identify risks and propose ongoing improvement measures. The role involves high business exposure and offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated specialist to actively contribute to the Bank's regulatory and compliance competency.
Your responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for the Bank's suitability framework incl. policies, processes, systems, and controls
- Perform controls regarding adherence to suitability policies
- Assume responsibility for suitability related tasks including daily management of requests from client relationship managers
- Identify, analyze and address system incidents and data quality issues
- Lead smaller change initiatives including business analysis, requirements specification, user acceptance testing, and roll-out communication
- Establish an effective working relationship and ensure on-going close interaction with Bank's front units in Switzerland and suitability experts in the Bank's international locations to raise awareness of suitability topics
Your profile
- University degree in business, economics, law or information technology or completed apprenticeship or similar education
- Industry specific knowledge is required and practical experience in interaction with front units is an advantage
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, knowledge in Avaloq is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work with various stakeholder and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethics, integrity and high level of accountability
- Hands-on mentality
- Fluency in English
