In this key role, you will lead the SUI HR Operations team, ensuring efficient HR processes, compliance, and employee experience. Acting as the main point of contact for employees and leadership, you will drive HR transformation initiatives and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to align the Swiss People Agenda with broader CE priorities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a trusted and process-oriented SUI HR Operations (Senior) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the HR agenda and services. Acting as the main point of contact for employees, managers, and leadership in SUI, you will ensure seamless execution of employee life cycle processes and drive the transformation of HR operations to improve efficiency, quality, and employee experience through digital initiatives and transformation projects.
Leading the SUI HR Operations team with a trusting and value-based leadership style, you will empower the team while ensuring compliance with HR policies and guidelines. Partnering with CE Centers of Expertise, you will address critical topics such as compensation and benefits, mobility and immigration, and employment law. Additionally, you will collaborate with HR functions in recruiting, career development, learning and development, and other key areas to align HR efforts across all business units.
As sparring partner to CE People Leadership teams, you will ensure alignment between the CE HR strategy and SUI priorities. At the same time, you’ll act as a trusted partner and senior leadership advisor. You’ll partner closely with the People Chair SUI, Office Leaders, and the local partner group.
Your expertise in Swiss labor law will position you as a key advisor on regulatory changes, compliance, and complex HR issues. You will guide senior leaders and managers on HR matters, manage sensitive employee relations cases, and provide legal and compliance support to promote a culture of accountability and risk mitigation.
In this role, you will also oversee the HR budget, ensure effective collaboration with the Finance Payroll team, and provide insights based on a strong understanding of Swiss payroll systems. Furthermore, you will act as a strategic partner to the CE People Team leadership, local partners, and office leaders, aligning the Swiss People Agenda with broader CE priorities and fostering a positive work environment.
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS)
- A university or college degree in economics, business administration, HR management, or a related field
- At least five years of relevant professional experience, including one to two years in a leadership role, preferably in an international professional services or HR operations environment
- Strong expertise in managing end-to-end employee life cycle processes, with a focus on ensuring efficiency and employee satisfaction
- Solid understanding of Swiss labor law, with the ability to monitor regulatory changes and provide guidance on compliance and risk mitigation
- Proven experience in driving HR transformation projects and change management, particularly in implementing digital tools and leveraging global shared service centers (e.g., Docuware, Employee Page)
- Demonstrated success in partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on compensation and benefits, mobility, and employee relations to align with organizational priorities
- Practical knowledge of Swiss payroll systems, including collaboration with finance teams to maintain smooth interfaces and accurate processes
- Strong project management skills, with experience in traditional and agile methods, particularly in HR-related contexts
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills, with a data-driven mindset and close attention to detail
- Advanced communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver impactful presentations to senior stakeholders
- High technical affinity and openness to adopting and promoting digital tools to improve HR processes
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with a professional and approachable demeanor
YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll lead the SUI HR Operations team and collaborate closely with other HR colleagues in and outside of SUI. At the same time, you will be part of the CE HR Operations team, including the Centers of Expertise (COE). The team’s collaboration is characterized by mutual support, the active exchange of experience, strong trust, and a good dose of humor. Integrity is our highest priority.
You will report to the CE HR Operations & Transformation Senior Director, who will be there for you and support you in your professional development. You will also always be able to draw on the experience of your colleagues, especially your peers, the three COE leads and the G&A HR Services Director.
Additionally, you’ll work with senior leaders, business partners, and shared service teams to ensure alignment and seamless collaboration. Your role will also involve regular interaction with Finance, Payroll, and legal advisors to support compliance and maintain efficient processes.
