Quality Technician (100%)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our components and products meet the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to product excellence and continuous improvement within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Your role:
As a Quality Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain quality standards. You will also assist Quality Engineers in resolving production quality concerns and implementing corrective actions.
What you will own:
- Interpret and analyze part drawings and specifications to guide inspection, testing, and validation activities.
- Perform quality checks on purchased parts according to the schedule and control instructions & design documentation.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using measurement devices such as height gauges, calipers, micrometers, GO/NO GO gauges, and perform visual inspections.
- Ensure compliance of parts with tolerances and specifications using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Record non-compliances in the ERP system and use the ERP to track batches/parts to be checked, ensuring batch follow-up and completion notifications.
- Identify and isolate non-compliant products (quarantine process) and initiate corrective actions where needed.
- Perform production testing, troubleshooting, and final functional validation to ensure product compliance.
- Document and share inspection results in a timely manner with relevant external and internal teams, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Investigate non-conformities through test result analysis, perform root cause investigations, and report findings. Conduct non-conformance testing of manufactured, packaged, or tested products.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, following good documentation practices and established procedures.
- Help identify root causes of non-compliance and contribute to corrective action implementation.
- Prepare and monitor quality statistics and reports, and review production records for procedural compliance.
- Identify and communicate potential product quality issues promptly.
- Be part of the continuous improvement plan to enhance product and part quality.
- Support other departments in qualification and validation testing activities.
- Ensure testing equipment is in optimal condition through regular checks and maintenance.
Your profile:
- ES Mechanical technician, educational background in a technical field related to quality control is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in GMP quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in Metrology, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) within an ERP system.
- Solid understanding of statistical techniques, including confidence intervals, control charts, tolerance bands, standard variation, and standard deviation.
- ES Mechanical technician, educational background in a technical field related to quality control is a plus.
- Fluent in French, with a good level of English.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Responsible, precise, and rigorous, with a structured and team-oriented working approach.
- Eager to learn new concepts, skills, and tools to enhance performance and efficiency.
