Your challenges during the Internship

In this 6-month internship, you will develop a “Price Radar” for public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The current cost structures for EV charging are complex and lack transparency, making it difficult for travelers to compare prices and plan their journeys effectively. This reduces competition among providers and slows the adoption of electromobility.

Your goal is to create a solution that enables travelers to:

• Easily compare charging station prices and services
• Make informed choices based on price, availability predictions, and total waiting/charging times
• Plan their trips efficiently using a user-friendly platform

Your key challenges will include:

• Market Research: Analyze existing solutions and the EV charging market to identify gaps and opportunities
• Data Collection & Analysis: Gather and analyze pricing models, availability data, and service offerings of charging stations
• Algorithm Development: Design algorithms for price comparison, service recommendation, and availability prediction
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and reliable data
• Technical Solution: Define and implement the technical architecture of the solution
• User-Friendly Interface: Develop an intuitive, user-centric application interface for EV travelers
• Prototype & Testing: Build, test, and refine the platform based on user feedback and performance insights
• MVP Creation: Develop a minimum viable product (MVP) ready for real-world testing and improvements

This Will Help You Get Started

• Passion for electric mobility and sustainable transportation solutions
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles to create user-friendly interfaces
• Knowledge of machine learning (ML) and generative AI for algorithm development and prediction models.
• Proficiency in software engineering and programming, particularly in mobile application development
• Interest in AI and data science to analyze, compare, and recommend solutions effectively
