Your role and responsibilities
Corporate Transformation Lead supports the development and ensures communication/implementation of global and regional procurement strategies for indirect materials and services to maximize procurement efficiency. Leads internal stakeholder management across division(s), business area(s), and functions in the assigned country. Ensures compliance and implementation of procurement activities, procedures, and initiatives in the assigned country. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESCORE RESPONSIBILITIES• Supports development and communication/implementation of global and regional procurement strategies for areas such as indirect materials and services.• Drives compliance to global and regional sourcing strategies in the areas of indirect materials and services to maximize savings.• Fosters communication internally, externally, and between different global organizations and functions and supports the implementation of procurement activities and initiatives in the region/country through effective communication.• Leads efforts to achieve client satisfaction with internal stakeholders from General Management, divisions, business areas, and other functions in the region/country through effective communication and active feedback loops between stakeholders and the Procurement organization.• Responsible for meeting the budgeted function cost and headcount targets at the country level and achieving planned cost reduction on indirect materials and services.• Analyzes procurement-related problems/ issues to identify best solutions and initiates improvements in relevant Procurement organizations to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.• Identifies, documents, and communicates best practices using benchmarking, surveys, and case studies to establish frameworks and preferred business practices.• Contributes to the development and implementation of procurement standards, tools, and processes in a region/country.
Qualifications for the role
- Ideally 7 years of experience in Procurement - ideally in Indirect Services Procurement within the categories of HR and Marketing Services or equivalent extensive experience working in the HR and/or Marketing category for which the role is intended to support
- Experience in implementation of global and regional procurement strategies for indirect materials and services
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and being able to represent Corporate Procurement on all seniority levels
- Good team player but able to work independently in allocated areas
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with legal and contractual terms and language
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Pro-actively participates as a team member in achieving team goals
- Responds positively to new situations and challenges
