As an Operational Excellence Manager, you will play an essential role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and positive change. Working closely with a diverse range of team members, from operators to plant managers and as well with team members of the Operational Excellence Manager EMEA team. You will lead local interdisciplinary projects that help drive meaningful impact to achieve its operational excellence goals and business objectives.

Your tasks:

• Lead and manage complex interdisciplinary projects and provide consulting services in all areas of operations including production, logistics, planning, and maintenance
• Analyze financial and operational data to generate actionable insights and develop hypotheses for process improvements and strategic decision-making.
• Foster a systematic approach to identify levers to generate business impact
• Develop and track KPIs to measure the progress and success of operational excellence initiatives
• Create reports and presentations for upper management on the status of organizational excellence initiatives
• Align global operational excellence initiatives and global standards development with the local Operational Excellence Managers
• Train and develop the local team in all aspects of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and lean
• Lead and execute process improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies

Your profile:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
• At least 6 years in process improvements, manufacturing, in production, or in a consultancy environment, preferably with leadership experience
• Strong background in financial cost structure and production data analysis
• Experience in the development, implementation, and coaching of performance management including cascaded KPIs in operations
• Project management skills and very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication and change management skills
• A strong background in Lean or Six Sigma is beneficial
• German and English on a professional level
• Ability to travel up to 20% (mainly in Switzerland)
• Permission to work in Switzerland (at least an EU citizenship or already a work permit for Switzerland is needed)
