Downstream Process Development – 6 months paid Internship in Biopole
Development of Purification Process

process development team within the Ferring Biologic Innovation Center (FBIC).
This internship is about supporting development and innovation in protein purification.
Your day at Ferring
• Support downstream development and innovation activities
• Perform the lab activities as required
• Report and present the outcomes to different audiences
• Participate in the organization of the DSP lab in a lean, efficient, and smart way
• Be accountable for your work and working environment

The typical candidate for this role is a master student in Bioprocessing (Biotechnology, Bioengineering,
Chemical Engineering, or any related field).
It will be beneficial for the candidate to demonstrate all or some of the skills, competences, and
experiences below:
• Experience working with protein purification
• Know-how in filtration and chromatographic technics
• Theoretical understanding of the different mode of purification/separation
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Communicate orally and in writing fluently in English
• Proactive and dynamic
