Team:
As a member of the growing team "HIL Systems", you engage in customer specific solutions for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing of electronic control units. Become a part of our dedicated System Engineering team. You will have numerous opportunities for professional growth. You will collaborate with other internal Speedgoat departments, suppliers and customers.
You are the technical domain expert for our HIL test systems and related use-cases. You are responsible for requirements engineering, specification and design concept of large-scale HIL rack systems and signal-conditioning elements tailored to our customers’ needs. You supervise the assembling and testing of our solutions and assure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Your Contribution:
- Collect, analyze and manage requirements of projects during initialization and engineering.
- Design, configure and present technical solutions to customers, within budget and timeline.
- Be the lead of the implementation specification team (synopsis, signals, layouts, schematics).
- Consolidate designs during engineering in collaboration with customers and internal teams.
- Participate in creation of unit and system test specifications to verify system requirements.
- Collaborate with project management and internal teams to meet timelines (agile workflow).
- Align and supervise assembly and testing teams through system implementation and testing.
- Actively support continuous improvements in our engineering processes and related tools.
- Contribute to the on-going process of productization and standardization of our solutions.
- Be a key member for quality and scope of complex customer projects.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering, or similar
- Five years of experience in system engineering or development of complex systems
- Expert knowledge in electronics hardware, signal processing and/or control systems
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink and/or Schematic/ECAD tools (Altium, E3, Zuken)
- Experience with regulated manufacturing industries and product development
- Familiarity with product safety and EMC standards (IEC 61439, IEC 61010) is a plus
- Experience with back-end (C#, python), database or front-end scripting is a plus
- Team player with a high degree of flexibility and reliability
- Self-reliance and great sense of responsibility
- Valid working permit for Switzerland
- Fluent in English
