Your contribution

As a Product Manager, you will plan, organize, and manage assigned product lines from concept through the entire product lifecycle to maximize profitability and achieve growth goals. You will develop comprehensive market plans, coordinate technical product development, and set pricing recommendations. Your role will involve overseeing production release, guiding market introduction, and managing mature products to ensure financial objectives are met.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop marketing, sales, engineering, and financial plans for product lines.
• Support marketing activities, including advertising and sales promotions, and provide sales support at conventions and seminars.
• Conduct market analyses and VOC activities to develop new product recommendations.
• Provide financial and technical justification for product selection and definition.
• Prepare product development objectives and schedules for all phases of development and marketing.
• Support the Quality System and Quality Policy by following procedures and creating records to meet Tecan's requirements.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years of experience in a related field, with a proven track record of overcoming obstacles and delivering results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and trust with customers.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with a knack for navigating complex challenges.
• Technical and business acumen with a passion for great user experiences, and the resilience to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Self-motivated and able to manage time and priorities effectively, especially when facing obstacles.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
