Job Description
Join the dynamic Private Clients Team, led by the Director Private Clients, which manages private sellers and buyers on AutoScout24 and MotoScout24. As Operations Manager, you'll drive the success of AutoScout24 Direct, our fast-growing C2B platform enabling private sellers to auction vehicles to 7,000 dealers nationwide from home.
Key Responsibilities
AutoScout24 Direct Day to Day Operations:
- Optimize inbound and set up outbound campaigns
- Optimize technical setup and workflows
- Engage with private sellers and dealers to drive deal success rates.
- Manage and grow your outbound sales team
Process & Data Optimization:
- Analyze operational processes and improve them
- Own business reporting & auction analytics
- Use data-driven insights to optimize auction results
- Analyse gaps in supply & demand and act on them
Team Enablement & Growth:
- Support and train the team
- Build a motivated team that is hungry for closing deals
- Collaborate with the existing Customer Service team of AutoScout24 & our partner
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with other functional teams to align operations with broader business goals
- Discover and implement potential (external) solutions to improve the AS24 Direct operations
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations
Qualifications
We seek a motivated generalist with a growth mindset, ready to optimize processes, leverage data, and drive AutoScout24 Direct’s success.
Key Requirements
Industry Expertise:
- Proven experience in the (used car) automotive industry
- Understanding of C2B offerings and marketplaces is a plus
Operational Skills:
- Demonstrated success in running or optimizing operations teams (Customer Service and/or Telesales)
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
- Analytical skills, with the ability to process and interpret data
- Ability to query data using SQL (or similar) is a plus
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in (Swiss) German & English
- Proficiency in French and Italian is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong motivation to drive growth and innovation
