• Develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with our business objectives, and integrate sustainability considerations into key business processes and decision-making
• Lead and coordinate sustainability initiatives and projects across all departments and regions
• Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements in the scope of sustainability, as well as compliance with voluntary schemes (certification and sustainability programs)
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, customers, and regulatory bodies
• Stay abreast of global sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices

Qualifications & requirements

• Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration or related field – legal background considered a plus
• 2-5 years of experience in sustainability leadership roles, experience in agri commodity industry is an advantage
• Proficiency in German and English is a must (spoken and written). Spanish, French and Portuguese are frequently used in daily activities and are considered a plus.
• Proven track record of implementing successful sustainability programs
• A commercial mind-set
• Strong understanding of ESG principles and reporting frameworks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experienced in data analysis and sustainability reporting methodologies
• Willingness to travel internationally
