We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Account Manager who will also take on the role of Senior Project Manager (PM). This dual role requires a combination of deep client relationship management, project oversight, and the ability to lead projects designed to enhance operational efficiency and drive value across our customer accounts.
You will be responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with major accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, and driving business growth. Simultaneously, you will lead and manage projects in an efficient and effective manner to ensure project success. This role will enable you to progressively handle more senior level task, facilitating both personal development and advancement of leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within life sciences accounts.
Act as the primary point of contact, understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling consulting services.
Develop and implement account plans to achieve financial and growth targets.
Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and proposal preparations for accounts.
Establish and track key performance metrics for projects, reporting regularly to senior leadership.
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of consulting services to meet client expectations.
Lead various client projects to enhance their way of working and operations.
Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and project success.
Drive change management initiatives as part of project execution to ensure project success.
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or PhD) strongly preferred.
Total 3-5 years of experience in account management, business development, or consulting within the life sciences industry.
Strong theoretical and practical experience in account management
Strong client management and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in a project environment.
Excellent understanding of life sciences industry trends, challenges, and regulations.
Ability to manage complex negotiations and business agreements.
Exceptional project/program management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency in using CRM systems, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to influence and build consensus among internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
