Responsibilities and Duties
- As a Business Development Intern (Sales & Distribution), you will assist the sales and management team in developing our business in an innovative and sustainable way. Your tasks will include:
- Category Management: Actively participate in the development of this innovative tool with pilot distributor clients, aimed at optimizing their inventory, particularly for high-value products.
- Market Analysis: Competitive intelligence and analysis of product segments and geographical territories. You will provide strategic recommendations to the management team.
- Event Management: Support local teams in organizing events, particularly with clients.
- Client Visits: Accompany experienced Account and Key Account Managers to better understand the needs and challenges of the Tourism, Trucking, and Beyond Road sectors.
- E-Retail Development for Switzerland.
- Presentation Preparation: Preparing presentation documents.
Immersion in the Company’s DNA
- Strategic Challenges: Participate in the company’s strategic meetings, monitor ongoing projects, and contribute to decision-making.
- Support and Mentorship: Receive continuous support from the management team and attend client meetings to better understand sector challenges.
- Internal Events Participation: Take part in the group’s strategic events (e.g., previous interns attended workshops in Frankfurt with employees from Switzerland, Germany, and Austria).
- Continuous Training: Benefit from ongoing training to gain the knowledge needed to successfully carry out your projects.
Required Skills
- Bachelor or Master’s degree level (Bac+4/Bac+5).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proactive and able to offer innovative ideas.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Fluency in English, German, and French.
