Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to spearhead the global expansion of our cutting-edge visual AI solution. You'll build and inspire a high-performing sales team, develop an effective sales strategy, drive revenue growth and forge strategic partnerships. In this role you will be part of the management team and directly report to the Business Manager.The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-HybridYou will be mainly accountable for:• Responsible for creating, planning, and implementing the sales mission, vision, and strategy, along with the budget and efficiency targets for the assigned area. • Define key sales targets and establish appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor the performance. • Develop and implement strategic business development plans. Identify and prioritize key target markets and accounts. • Actively drive our business development and sales activities and lead the negotiation of key B2B customer contracts. • Manage one of our market verticals: identify key players and their needs and generate leads to grow the sales in your vertical. • Coordinate and influence external and internal stakeholders (technical, managerial, executive) throughout the customer journey to secure high sales volumes and customer satisfaction • Build up the sales team and supervise two current sales members. • Lead our marketing specialist and be ultimately accountable for all marketing activities. • Foster an inclusive and high-performance culture in the sales and marketing team.
Qualifications for the role
- Completed university degree in a technical or business discipline
- 10-15 years of B2B sales experience in technical industry
- Experience in robotics or automation industry is a plus
- Good knowledge of material handling processes using AGVs & AMRs, or service robotics such as autonomous floor cleaning is preferred
- Proven track record in successfully leading teams
- Analytical attitude with outstanding presentation and communication skills
- Willingness to travel: 10-20%
- Fluency in English (German is a plus)
