Customer Landscape
Consolidation will remain a key trend in oral healthcare and will continue to see practice consolidation with fewer solo practices and more mid-sized groups, specialty Group and large PE backed Dental Support Organizations (DSO) with varying governance structures. DSOs are the fastest growing segment in dentistry around the globe, driving implant and aligner penetration due to their increased spending power on patient marketing outreach and thus resulting higher treatment conversion.
Business Unit
The Global Enterprise Solutions business unit is dedicated to developing long term business partnerships with large scale DSOs across the globe. It fully leverages our brands and services across all product segments through winning business concepts and a customized solutions and services to be the leading partner of choice for DSOs.
Purpose of this position
Drive and execute strategic initiatives and plans, optimize business processes, and monitor key performance metrics towards growing the DSO business and create effective and collaborative working models across various teams & functions. The role reports directly to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Enterprise Solutions and it is part of Global ES Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of strategic plans that align with the company's vision and goals. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Oversee the evaluation and enhancement of business processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive operational excellence.
- Initiative Management: Manage a portfolio of strategic initiatives from conception through execution. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing, finance, operations, and IT, to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives. Provide regular updates and reports to the EVP and other senior leaders.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Use insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
- Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team. Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or similar; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is an advantage
- At least 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business development or similar including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and executing strategic initiatives in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in the healthcare or dentistry industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies including Lean
- Fluent in English
- Availability to travel 30% of the time
