What you can do
- You play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of database solutions in the Microsoft Azure Cloud environment
- You ensure optimal database performance, scalability, availability, and security across various database technologies
- You assist IT departments in evaluating and selecting the most suitable database technology based on business needs, workload requirements, and future scalability
- You help implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for database deployments, automates routine database management tasks using DevOps tools and scripts
- You collaborate closely with DBA, development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of database solutions
- You work in an agile manner within a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) organization
What you have to offer
- You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent) and bring 5+ years of experience in database administration, including at least 2 years in an Azure cloud environment with a DevOps focus
- You have expertise in Microsoft Azure database services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in database monitoring and management tools
- Experienced with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, or Pulumi, you're also proficient in advanced scripting (T-SQL, PowerShell, Python)
- With strong knowledge of database security practices (encryption, RBAC, compliance), you can troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills enable you to articulate database solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, collaborating seamlessly with DBA, IT, DevOps, and Software Development teams
- As a native French or German speaker, with strong knowledge of the other language and excellent English skills, you bring a global perspective
