M&A Manager (100%)

The SIX M&A team is part of the Corporate Development team within the CFO function of SIX. The team is responsible for the group-wide M&A activities as well as the corporate investment management. As member of our team you will significantly contribute to the development of SIX Group and its business units by supporting Senior Managers on M&A projects, as well as contributing and supporting the management of SIX' portfolio of strategic minority investments. You will gain immediate exposure to SIX’ management across the business units. M&A activities in the last years included, amongst others, the acquisition of Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME), the offer for Aquis Exchange, the carve-out and sale of SIX Payment Services to Worldline.
What You Will Do:
- Support the SIX M&A team in ongoing M&A projects and in the area of M&A strategy
- Build financial models, company valuations and strategic analyses
- Carry out research on market and company developments (including structured screening, assessing and prioritizing of M&A opportunities in the market)
- Support during the due diligence phase on potential investments
- Prepare documents for internal decision-making bodies
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in economics, finance, or industrial engineering as well as previous relevant working experience in M&A and/or corporate finance (2+ years)
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a structured working approach
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent English is a must and German and/or Spanish is a plus
