Position:
- Spare parts management to ensure production machines' run ability, categorize spare parts ordering by type and urgency (ABC classification), and reduce work orders (WO) to a minimum.
- Fulfill all requirements related to preventive maintenance (PM) or spare parts procedures in accordance with ISO and other standards.
- Provide monthly visualized reports on spare part consumption and inventory to the management team and the PM pillar and follow up on improvement projects to address main consumables.
- Identify and manage obsolete spare parts, coordinating sales and disposal.
- Oversee the buy and sell process and ensure the right spare parts are stocked.
- Collaborate with finance to create and monitor spare parts planning.
- Manage external and internal spare parts repairs with suppliers.
- Contribute to achieving factory KPIs, support continual improvement for EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety), energy, and quality management systems, and ensure compliance with the code of conduct, legal, and other requirements.
- Act as a backup for the Spare Parts Warehouse Specialist and support continuous improvement initiatives like 5S and Kaizen.
Requirements:
- University degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering).
- Proven experience as a Spare Parts Specialist or in a similar role; TPM/IWS/Lean/6 Sigma experience is preferable. FMCG experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with file automation would be an asset.
- SAP or similar ERP program knowledge.
- Fluent in English; German is an asset.
- Strong analytical mindset; self-driven, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
