Position Summary
As a Senior Quality & Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the proficiency and optimal functioning of HQ Quality Methods implementation and appropriate validated methodologies, providing the best analytical services to the Coffee Business, including areas such as machines, products, quality, regulatory compliance, factories, packaging, and filling & sealing lines. You will ensure the cost-efficient operation of the Quality validation laboratory and will be responsible for following technological intelligence tools and methods both internally and externally.
Your role is essential in the final quality of Nespresso coffee capsules, as it will ensure the best experience for our final consumer.
A Day in the Life of a Senior Quality & Analytics Specialist
- Lead the development of new analytical methods and support factories and other entities (Innovation, Corporate Food Safety, Corporate Regulatory, and Nespresso Markets) in implementing method updates, alternative methods, and establishing monitoring plans.
- Validate and establish validation dossiers for new and existing methods according to Nestlé validation standards.
- Ensure proper implementation and regular updates of the laboratory quality system in accordance with NGLP Standard and ISO 9001.
- Manage the technicians' training plan on relevant technologies, analyses, and development needs and ensure the analytical competence of technicians to perform required analyses and timely reporting of results to customers.
- Develop and maintain competent professionals in the laboratories and Nespresso coffee business,
- Oversee the cost-efficient functioning of the laboratory, ensuring personnel safety, equipment availability, and quality control.
- Promote laboratory quality awareness across the company and contribute to the competence development of laboratory quality team members.
What will make you successful
- Background in Biology, Chemistry, Material Science or relevant field
- Strong Laboratory experience in performing analyses in the specific area of competence.
- Solid experience in methods development in operations, laboratory, and quality systems.
- Proficiency in analytics & statistics with relevant tools (Minitab, QStat, Excel, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in leading technicians in laboratory
- Adaptability in changing environments and project-based work
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders of various levels & functions
- Ability to work under pressure and set priorities while delegating activities.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
