Overview of Role
In this newly created role you are leading all efforts within the bank to automate processes. You have the opportunity to shape the automation strategy, the implementation roadmap and will focus on implementing specific automation cases.
The successful candidate has a hands-on, pragmatic mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive the automation of the bank as part of our ambitious growth path. You will lead the Automation Center of Excellence, work with an interdisciplinary team of specialists across the bank and create tangible results for the bank in Switzerland (Zurich and Geneva) and subsidiaries in Western Europe and Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Define, implement and enhance bank-wide automation capabilities and acting as process automation center of excellence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess automation cases to improve efficiency or reduce risk.
- Realize prioritized automation cases across all functions to achieve tangible results.
- Manage change (project) timelines, budgets, and ensure timely delivery of automation projects.
- Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing automation processes by responsible functional teams.
Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience ideally in the financial industry in a similar position.
- Proven track record of managing projects from start to closure.
- Knowledge and experience of Avaloq is beneficial.
- Hands-on, pragmatic mindset with strong focus on results.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong social and communication skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken).
