At Bavarian Nordic Berna, the Swiss affiliate there are - beside manufacturing activities – professionals in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supply Chain and Regulatory affairs working. On the Swiss site in Thörishaus / Bern there are + 200 dedicated and committed professionals working locally and globally.
Due to an upcoming role change of the current incumbent we are looking to strengthen our Site Leadership Team with a
Purpose of the job
- Representing site quality at senior management levels locally and globally
- Leading the Quality Assurance department at BN Bern
- Providing strategic and operational support to the site
- Ensure compliance of the quality system with cGXP (in particular cGMP and cGDP) and regulatory requirements
- Product release in accordance with the marketing authorization
Competencies
- QP (FvP) release and certification of products
- QP (FvP) approval of documents
- Decision on recalls, field alerts, failure notifications and BPDRs
- Performance and oversight of internal and external audits
- Decisions concerning personnel and finance for the QA department
Requirements of Jobholder
- Universal degree in natural science, medicine or pharmacy
- At least 7-10 years experience in biologics and GMP
- Expert knowledge of local and global GxP requirements
- Experience in inspections with Health Authorities and audits
- Multilingual – at least German and English, written and spoken
- Team management and delegation skilled
