Your role

As Associate Network Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are willing to actively support the existing network team. As group IT service provider we provide all network security related services out of Switzerland to our group entities across the globe, which offers you to work in a diverse and international environment.

You will work for both areas "run the bank" and "change the bank" and provide continuous operative support to our infrastructure, based on state of the art solutions/technologies and work close together with leading providers in all network and security related areas.

Your responsibilities

• Support the network team in maintaining and optimizing global network infrastructure
• Contribute to both "run the bank" (operational support) and "change the bank" (project-based initiatives) activities
• Assist in implementing and managing network security measures to ensure compliance and protection 
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to maintain high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative network solutions

Your profile

• University degree in Computer Science (Bachelor or Master) or completed apprenticeship or similar banking education 
• CCNA is a plus 
• 3 years of practical experience in the networking area 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
• Experience with ITIL methodologies, knowledge in Firewall / Proxy / NAC is an advantage 
• Strong work ethics, integrity and high level of accountability 
• Hands-on mentality as well as willingness to take responsibility 
• Ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in English, fluency in German is a plus
