HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
- Analyze system and software requirements
- Design and implement automated test cases in Python as well as manual tests
- Execute functional, integration, and regression tests in simulated lab environment
- Evaluate test results and document test evidence according to safety standards (EN-50716)
- Contribute to verification and validation activities
- Collaborate closely with system engineers, developers, and safety experts
- Contribute to process improvement, test automation strategies and tools
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in software testing or system validation, ideally in safety-critical or embedded systems
- Experience in Python (or strong interest and motivation to learn Python quickly)
- Basic understanding of embedded systems
- Familiarity with test management and version control tools (e.g. DOORS Next, Polarion, SVN, Git)
- Understanding of standards such as EN 50128, EN 50716, or IEC 61508 is a plus
- A curious mind and a drive to understand complex systems
- Structured and analytical thinking with attention to detail
- A team player who communicates clearly and works well across disciplines
- Proactive and responsible
