For our client, we are looking for a qualified Senior Analytical Scientist to join their team in Basel. This exciting position involves supporting the Analytical Research & Development (ARD) division, with a focus on advancing the development of Radio Ligand Therapy (RLT) compounds. The successful candidate will bring expertise in analytical sciences and contribute significantly to our client's innovative pipeline within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, interpret, and report on scientific experiments to ensure timely availability of drug substances and products
- Prepare and review analytical documents, including analytical methods, specifications, validation and stability reports, and batch records for release and stability testing
- Coordinate with internal and external partners, including Contract Research Organizations (CROs), by providing scientific and technical guidance as needed.
- Proactively identify scientific, technological, and GMP-related challenges, propose creative solutions, and communicate key issues to the project leader or technical team
- Adhere to SOPs, GMP standards, quality guidelines, as well as health and safety regulations
- Contribute to the creation of analytical CMC documents and support regulatory submissions
- Lead and manage analytical activities, including impurity profiling, method development, validation, stability, and release testing for RLT compounds
- Provide scientific guidance to cross-functional and global project teams, advancing the RLT portfolio
- Foster a collaborative and engaged attitude within project teams and with stakeholders and partners
Requirements:
- PhD or at least a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in GMP activities for development or commercial products
- Solid experience in raw data documentation and report writing (e.g., stability and validation reports)
- Broad scientific knowledge in chemistry, pharmaceutical, or analytical sciences, with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Advanced expertise in laboratory and technical tools (e.g., HPLC, LC-MS, quality management systems, statistical evaluation tools)
- Proficient with common software applications
- Strong scientific and technical writing skills
- Eagerness to develop new methods and assess innovative analytical techniques
- Proven leadership skills in guiding and mentoring colleagues
- Strong coordination skills, collaborative spirit, self-driven attitude, and a high level of learning agility
- Strong quality focus with excellent communication and role-modeling abilities
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
