Your role and responsibilities
As a Technical Product Compliance Officer, you will act as a consultant, collaborating closely with Engineering, R&D, Sales, and Project Management to ensure CE-Conformity and Compliance throughout the product lifecycle.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role contributes to the Process Industries division in Switzerland. You will be mainly accountable for:• Act as an internal consultant on compliance-related matters and provide guidance on regulatory requirements, closely collaborating with Engineering, R&D, Sales, and Project Management.• Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain compliance with conformity standards.• Monitor and update compliance processes to align with regulatory changes and industry best practices (mainly machinery directive, low voltage directive and EMC directive).• Provide training and support to teams on conformity and compliance requirements.
Qualifications for the role
- Degree in industrial or electrical engineering, additional education as technical writing is a plus.
- Solid technical knowledge and understanding of product/process design.
- Experience in product compliance as well as understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodology.
- Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills in English.
- Attention to detail.
