As (Senior) Quality Engineer, you will be a part of our Quality Management team, ensuring that our equipment products, including personal protection equipment (PPE), meet the highest standards. You will collaborate with various departments, conduct training sessions, and oversee supplier audits. The start date for this position would be April 1, 2025, or by agreement.

Your responsibilities
- Interface and subject matter expert between the development department and quality management to ensure compliance with standards and requirements
- Responsible for the quality assurance process of PPE products to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Evaluate and analyze test results, prepare quality reports for development and suppliers
- Monitoring of product and quality requirements together with external and internal testing laboratories and service providers
- Training for internal employees (safety and usage) as well as training for external expert groups such as mountain guides
- Participating in standardization work within the CEN and UIAA committees.
- Supplier Audits and follow up on corrective actions for equipment supplier
Your profile
- Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Quality Management
- Strong PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) knowledge
- Further training in process management, data analysis or textile engineering is a plus
- Min. 3 years of work experience in an equal field/position
- Knowhow in Product compliance as well as in standardization processes (CEN,SNV) and documents would be an advantage
- Teamplayer with problem solving skills as well as a decision, solution oriented & analytical mindset
- Collaborative & flexible personality with strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge in MS Office, ERP (Microsoft Dynamics), FlexPLM and Mathlab
- Fluent in English (written/spoken), German would be desirable
- Practical own experience in the usage of PPE equipment and passion/love for mountains
