The Department of Fundamental Neurosciences of the University of Lausanne invites applications for a Postdoc position in the research group of Prof Manuel Mameli. Your responsibilities
The successful candidate will work on the astrocytes functions in mice. This work will rely on multidisciplinary approaches including behavioral tasks, genetic approaches and imaging techniques as well as analysis.
Your qualifications
In order to complete our team, we are looking for someone with the following skills:
• Strong knowledge in systems neuroscience
• Experience in astrocyte physiology,
• Experience in imaging technologies,
• Experience in behavioral tasks for mice
• Authorization for animal experimentation is advised,
• Motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic collaborator with a PhD thesis in neuroscience, interested in working in a highly interactive environment,
• Excellent command of oral and written English.
