The SIX M&A team is part of the "Corporate Development" unit within the CFO area of SIX. The team is responsible for the group-wide M&A activities as well as the corporate investment management. As member of our team you will contribute significantly to the development of the SIX group and its business units by supporting senior managers on M&A projects, as well as contributing and supporting the management of SIX' portfolio of strategic minority investments
- Support the SIX M&A team in ongoing M&A projects and in the area of M&A strategy
- Build financial models, company valuations and strategic analyses
- Carry out research on market and company developments (including structured screening,
- assessing and prioritizing of M&A opportunities in the market)
- Project management support for complex M&A projects (especially during due diligence)
- Prepare documents for internal decision-making bodies
- Bachelor or Master degree and/or higher education in the field of economics or industrial engineering
- Practical work experience in M&A/investment banking or strategy consulting desirable
- Experience in running day-to-day activities during due diligence processes is a plus
- Valuation experience is a plus
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus
- Very good MS Office skills (esp. Excel and Power Point)
- Know-how about planning and organizational methods as well as analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Highly motivated personality with initiative and used to working independently
- Flexible and team-oriented person with very good communication skills
- Very result-oriented working style and strong determination to achieve goals with high quality standards, including exceptional analytical and conceptual skills
- Fluent English is a must, German is a strong plus, Spanish is a plus
