Axpo Solutions AG is looking for a visionary leader to shape and enhance our information security strategy within the Trading & Sales (T&S) business area.As a key figure, you'll ensure compliance, foster security culture, and drive innovative solutions to safeguard our trading environment.
The role is embedded in the T&S Organsation and has a dotted line to our Group CISO.

What you will do:

• Implement and tailor group-wide security strategies for BA T&S, translating them into actionable measures for the trading IT landscape.


• Ensure and further develop good practice of information security implementation (in strategy, architecture, processes, controls, awareness & culture) within the Trading environment of BA T&S according to the standards and policies of Axpo Group within BA T&S.


• Conduct cyber security maturity risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.


• Oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of IS processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and group standards.


• Act as the central contact for security audits, incident management, and non-compliance issues.


• Foster an information security culture through targeted training programs and awareness campaigns.


• Lead and develop the information security team, aligning skills and resources with organizational needs.

What you bring & who you are:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Security, or a related field; CISSP or CISM certification is a plus.


• Extensive senior-level experience in information security, ideally within the energy trading sector.


• Proven leadership capabilities, including team development, cross-functional collaboration, and influence across organizational levels.


• Comprehensive knowledge of ISMS implementation, security risk management, and security architecture.


• Fluent in English; German or Spanish skills are advantageous.


• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, paired with a proactive mindset.
