What you do:
- Create and maintain project plans and schedule based on inputs such as WBS/WBE and estimate efforts, including delivery schedule provided by suppliers
- Define the detailed activity planning including the project reviews based on the mandated engineering processes (ISO 15288 for System Engineering and ISO 12207 for Software Engineering)
- Chair the engineering review meetings, capturing decisions and assigning actions/tasks using tools such as Jira and BigPicture
- Coordinate the communication among the GBTS engineering team to ensure tasks are conducted as planned and the defined KPIs can be measured
- Coordinate the communication with production engineering to ensure correct planning and delivery of fabricate components (e.g. parts and components)
- Manage the identified suppliers ensuring deliverables are in line with the necessary timing and costs are as per the allocated project budget
- Support estimation activities for timelines and costs of new projects
What you bring:
- Engineering master degree, preferably in software electronic or aeronautical engineering
- At least five years of proven working experience in engineering project management for the design and development of integrated software and hardware systems, e.g. for the automotive or aviation industry. Specific experience on flight simulators engineering or software-based learning systems (Computer Based Training) constitutes an advantage
- Sound knowledge of system engineering processes and standards (e.g. ISO 15288 or equivalent)
- Proficiency in project management practices and procedures as well as project management tools as Microsoft Project, BigPicture or similar. PRINCE or PMP accreditation constitute an advantage
- Excellent social and communication skills with a fluency in English (C1) both spoken and written
- Ability to perform to tight deadlines and under pressure on parallel activities, prioritizing tasks with a structured approach and working equally well in a team or individually with a proactive attitude
