Test Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Solution Development & Integration organization. The team supports the development and integration of the next generation of physical and digital products. You will be responsible for translating system requirements, designing comprehensive architectures, and developing technically feasible design concepts. By applying solid principles of systems engineering, products are integrated into end-to-end environments.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and executing test cases for the validation of IT products.
• Implementing automated validations.
• Maintaining and optimizing the testing infrastructure, e.g., virtual machines.
• Collaborating with various system component development teams.
• Operating and managing laboratory instruments for validation purposes.

Requirements:

• A university degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD (DevOps), e.g., with GitLab.
• Strong experience in API development and testing (e.g., using Postman).
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database queries and scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Professional experience with cloud services and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform for Infrastructure as Code).
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
