We are an innovative med-tech company in the process of becoming an independent entity through the carve-out of our Diabetes Care Business Area from a larger holding structure. This move is driven by rapid growth over the past two years and our strategic focus on expanding Type 1 Diabetes solutions in global markets. As we transition to an independent organization, we seek an experienced Head of Legal & IP to lead our legal, compliance, and intellectual property functions, steering the carve-out's legal complexities while building and structuring a new team. This position will be the central role in shaping the legal foundation for the new company, with support from experts joining from the holding company and additional hires the Head of Legal & IP will bring on board. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, this leader will develop strategic legal frameworks, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions as we prepare for international expansion, including the US market.
The Head of Legal & IP will foster the company's legal and IP capabilities, supporting the carve-out transition and ensuring a compliant, strategically aligned framework for long-term growth. This role will involve overseeing a team of legal counsels and patent attorneys. In addition to guiding a robust IP and litigation strategy, the Head of Legal & IP will play an essential role in shaping compliance and corporate governance, especially as we navigate US market entry. The role requires deep expertise in med-tech or healthcare law and familiarity with multinational legal and regulatory landscapes.
