Job Description
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams with local and global experts to drive discovery programs to develop sustainable crop protection solutions.
- Lead and contribute to chemistry research projects, applying state-of-art target-based discovery approaches to identify and optimize novel bioactive ingredients interacting with relevant biological targets for crop protection.
- Advance project delivery through scientific investigations, applying expertise in molecular design, physical organic chemistry, and synthetic problem-solving.
- Analyze and deconvolute complex structure-activity-relationships (SAR) by integrating experimental and predicted data to meet key project deliverables.
- Drive scientific advancement and technological innovation in modern agrochemical discovery by proactively developing and applying cutting-edge skills and technologies, while fostering a culture of continuous learning, creativity, and strategic foresight.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- Deep expertise in organic chemistry, chemical biology or medicinal chemistry through doctoral training; postdoctoral and/or industrial experience is valued, yet not essential.
- Scientific experience in drug discovery technologies, and proficiency in synthetic organic chemistry.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively participate in scientific collaborations, fostering productive teamwork in multidisciplinary environments
- Forward-thinking mindset with a proactive approach to emerging trends and technologies in the field, coupled with strong self-motivation and initiative in project execution and personal growth.
- Good English language skills with demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific concepts effectively and enable cross-functional engagement.
