Your Area of Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain laboratory equipment (hardware and software) throughout its lifecycle
- Collaborate with scientists and lab personnel to ensure optimal equipment operation, focusing on aligning user requirements with workflow efficiency, data integrity, and security
- Perform qualification and validation of laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GxP, CFR 21 Part 11, GAMP5, ISO 17025)
- Create and execute tests (IQ/OQ/PQ/UAT)
- Maintain and update SOPs and equipment documentation
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment
- Manage periodic equipment reviews, decommission legacy systems, and ensure data archiving compliance
- Assist with data collection and analysis to support research activities, as well as with system integration
- Provide training and technical support to lab staff for proper equipment usage
Your Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or an equivalent field
- Regulatory expertise: strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, GAMP5, CFR 21 Part 11, and data integrity principles.
- Technical skills: proficiency in IT infrastructure basics (Windows, Networking, Security, Virtualization, Cloud technologies) and laboratory software implementation
- Laboratory experience: understanding of laboratory workflows, equipment qualification, and business processes.
- Strong communication skills especially when engaging with diverse stakeholders, including laboratory personnel, IT, QA, and suppliers, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English as well as German (in writing and speaking) and mandatory
