About the Role
In this dynamic role, you’ll take charge of raw material sourcing, production planning and order management, working closely with internal teams and toll manufacturers. Your contribution will be crucial for operational efficiency, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely deliveries, all while supporting our broader business goals. As this is a newly established position, you’ll have the chance to shape and evolve the role as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning
- Develop and implement precise production schedules in close collaboration with toll manufacturers to meet customer demands on time.
- Ensure continuous communication with manufacturing partners to optimize production timelines, capacity utilization, and quality standards.
- Lead regular production planning meetings with stakeholders to prioritize operational needs.
- Manage production capacity with toll manufacturers to ensure seamless execution of customer orders.
Raw Material Sourcing
- Identify and assess reliable suppliers for raw materials, ensuring supply and cost efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that balance cost optimization with high material quality.
- Monitor inventory levels closely and ensure timely replenishment to prevent any production delays.
Order Management
- Take full responsibility for the order management process, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to delivery timelines.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Logistics, Customer Service) to fulfill orders effectively.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on order status and resolve issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Project Management & Process Optimization
- Lead and drive projects, including raw material sourcing, onboarding new toll manufacturing partners, and continuously optimizing production workflows.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive ongoing improvements in production planning, sourcing, and order management processes.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in supply chain management, procurement, or production planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven track record of successfully managing small to mid-sized projects, such as onboarding new suppliers or optimizing workflows.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and inventory management tools.
- Able to work professionally in English and German.
