ServiceNow DevOps Engineer

Job description:

For our client in Bern - a well-known, market leading company - we are looking to hire 3 ServiceNow DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a motivated individual with an agile mindset, strong self-organizing skills and the ability to work in cross-cultural environments.

In this role you join an Agile team where you will help in the analysis of new application & capabilities. You work with business and developers to bridge the knowledge. Your understanding of complex solution and needs will be put to use through various tasks: Analysis; Requirement transcription; Acceptance criteria definition

Main Tasks

• data model adaptions in ServiceNow
• domain separation and cross-domain reuse
• service automation alongside instantiation
• the integration of external automation frameworks and data stores
• portal generation based on business service portfolios and external UX design
• reporting and service dashboards in particular for billing and monitoring

Requirements:

Must have

• Several years of experience as DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• 5 years of ServiceNow experience
• Advanced knowledge of object orientated design methods
• Business fluent in English

Nice to have

• microservice architectures
• Python programming
• SQL - and graph databases
• German and/or French is a plus

Details:

• Type of Employment: contractor role, employment through Swisslinx AG
• Duration: 01.04.2025 (or as agreed) with initial contract until 31.12.2025 - Likely to be extended
• Workload: 100%
• Job location: Hybrid with 2-3 days per week in the office at our client in Bern, 2-3 days per week WFH (only allowed within Switzerland)
