The Opportunity
As the Product Manager for ASPIRE Digital Core Platform, you will be accountable for the strategic direction, roadmap, and technical operations required to support ASPIRE solutions, with a strong focus on resilience, stability, security, and compliance. Acting as the S4 System Owner, you will drive non-functional and technical activities and ensure that the S/4 and EWM systems meet organizational and regulatory requirements. This includes establishing governance frameworks, implementing system standards, and ensuring compliance in alignment with the highest standards of data integrity and system security.
Your primary responsibilities include:

Fully accountable as the S4 System Owner, making decisions on Digital Core Platforms (S/4 and EWM) according to Computer System Validation (CSV) requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as GxP, GDPR, ICFR, and more

Establishes governance frameworks for SAP ERP S/4 system usage, defining and enforcing system standards, policies, and procedures to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance, actively participating in audits

Oversees the timely provisioning of SAP core systems, clients, and additional systems (e.g., for data migration, testing) in coordination with ASPIRE Product Development, Deployment, and Operations Teams. Manages batch jobs, interfaces, and technical setups across the system landscape

Leads ASPIRE Platform Operations, including Global System Management (GSM) services, ensuring smooth and efficient system operation across all teams. Defines and executes Data Volume Management (DVM) strategies to optimize storage and system performance

Leads technical projects on the SAP ERP system, including implementations, migrations, upgrades, and cross-functional enhancements. Coordinates non-functional requirements across different IT functions to ensure seamless integration of system upgrades and client copies

Drives initiatives to optimize system performance, identifies improvement opportunities, and implements solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Proactively monitors system performance, minimizing downtime, and leads initiatives to leverage new SAP technologies and functionalities

Develops and maintains consistent concepts for non-functional configurations across ASPIRE systems, ensuring system scalability, security, and compliance
Who you are

Holds a Masters or MBA degree or equivalent in business or IT with a deep understanding of SAP and its technology. Experienced in non-SAP technologies such as Mulesoft, Solace, OMP, Smart by GEP

Over 12 years of hands-on project management experience focusing on implementation projects, particularly in Life Sciences and IT. Proven track record in managing large-scale global IT transformational projects and programs

More than 10 years of functional SAP configuration or development experience in large project implementations, preferably in the Life Sciences industry. Skilled in on-premise and cloud SAP technology-related topics, including system landscape, software logistics, security, interface technologies, data management, and more

Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships, engage resources outside of direct control, and build relationships with key stakeholders in a complex cross-functional environment. Highly skilled in leadership, management, and interpersonal communication

Outstanding communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels, from technical team members to program leadership and sponsors. Fluent in English, with German being a plus

Hands-on experience in delivering complex projects using Agile methodologies and familiarity with Roche project management methodology (PMM) or equivalent. PMI PMP certification or equivalent is desirable. Prior experience with SAP Solution Manager is an advantage
