The programme
This is a unique 18-month experience where we offer you a permanent position along with a specific programme with rotations in different teams to build your expertise and professional skills. Your training will be complemented by a professional certification relevant to the area of business of your assignment.
Our programme will enable you to develop the interpersonal and self-leadership skills you will require in your future career. It will also give you the opportunity to build a network of peers within the company in Geneva’s headquarters.
Your role and responsibilities
Joining Pictet Wealth Management, you will be part of the PWM COO Office team based in Geneva. The PWM COO Office aims, among other things, to support digital product owners by contributing to key added-value activities of the development lifecycle.
The PWM COO Office is promoting the data driven culture across PWM’s digital product-oriented organisation. As such, it is in charge of maintaining and distributing high-quality operational and analytical data, and providing support to digital product development teams to explore data and extract relevant insights and key findings to feed their decision-making. To support this effort, your first 6-month rotation will be dedicated to:
• Meeting with digital product owners and process analysts to understand in scope products and business processes, major challenges and ambitions.
• Translating this understanding into relevant analysis dimensions and KPIs, such as heatmapping of the current state, tracking usage and adoption of solutions.
• With the support of our data engineers, building and distributing indicators and dashboards.
• Supporting stakeholders in interpretating information and translating them into actionable measures.
• Proactively documenting and sharing findings and best practices.
The two following rotations will give you the opportunity to change standpoint, joining other business lines. The objective will be to acquire additional skills in project management, data and innovation, valuable for your future activities in the PWM COO office.
At the end of the programme you will have the requisite skills to become a data scientist, a process and digital product expert and work on missions assigned to our team.
Your profile
• A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field.
• Experienced in data visualization techniques and tools like Tableau.
• Proven skills in programming in Python.
• Knowledge of private banking organisation, products, and processes.
• At least six months' professional experience (and less than two years’) (including internships, temporary roles, etc.).
• Skilled user of common IT applications (MS Office).
• Thorough in your work, able to operate on your own without difficulty in a demanding environment as well as possessing strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Fluent in French and excellent command of English.
• Must be resident in Switzerland.
